The workshop will begin with an introduction to Soothsayer and Altair, both providing an overview of their respective offerings, and discussing the importance of GenAl in the energy industry.
GenAl and Data Governance The GenAl session will cover the fundamentals of Generative Al, demonstrate generative Al tool, and explore applications in the energy sector. Following this, the Data Governance session will delve into the data fabric approach for managing and integrating data, highlighting the significance of data quality and variability, and include a demo on implementing data governance with GenAl.
The data fabric is a new way to manage and integrate data that promises to unlock the power of data in ways that shatter the limits of previous generations of technology such as data warehouses and data lakes.
Finally, in the hands-on session, participants will work on the practical implementation of GenAl and gain hands-on experience with data governance tools.
Digital Twin Digital twins are virtual replicas of physical objects or processes, typically deployed in the industry for better predictive maintenance, optimization, Remaining Useful Life (RUL) calculations and more. A holistic Digital twin combines the power of real-time data streamed from operating assets and near-real time high-fidelity system simulations for accurately informed decision making on the fly.
The Digital Twin session will introduce Digital Twin technology, explain how to enhance Digital Twins with Generative Al, and provide a demo on integrating real-time data and high-fidelity system simulations. This will be followed by a session showcasing success stories and use cases, presenting real-world applications of GenAl, Data Governance, and Digital Twins, with a focus on the energy industry, highlighting the benefits and outcomes achieved. Finally, in the hands-on session, participants will build and enhance Digital Twins and perform hands-on exercises with real-time data and simulations. The participants will also be exposed to the concepts of Geometric Deep Learning which serves as LLMs for Engineers.
